When only the best will do.

This DVR has the best recording quality and internet transmission. This 16 channel DVR is suitable for any requirement from the home, shop, to a large business user.

Its modular design means that you can use more than one unit at the same site should you require more than 16 camera imputs. When you are monitoring the Apollo365, the remote monitoring software provided allows you to store the details of more than one DVR so that connecting to each unit is effortless. Security is provided in the form of a user name and password.

A DVD writer is included which enables you to create evidence back-up for police purposes, it also offers a USB back-up option.

Incredibly 4 Hard Discs (memory) can be added to this DVR. This enables you to have a tremendous recording ability over a long period of time, infact its possible to record up to a year, if you selected a low frame rate!

The Apollo365 is a "digital video recorder". It records both the video and audio from CCTV cameras in a digital format on to its built in hard drive(s). The stored video and audio data can be replayed locally at the DVR through a CCTV monitor (this unit also accepts a VGA screen), on a computer that can be connected to the DVR over a LAN (Local Area Network) or via the internet using your normal Broadband connection.

Computers connected to the DVR over a LAN or ADSL internet connection can also see and hear live video and audio this is what makes the Apollo365 such a great  product for remote monitoring applications in addition to its powerful digital recording abilities.

There are two methods of remotely monitoring images from the DVR365. You can use either method to see live or recorded data from the DVR365 over a LAN or an Internet connection.

1. Remotely connect to the DVR Apollo365 using Internet Explorer. The DVR365 has an excellent feature where you can connect to it using Internet Explorer. You simply enter the IP address of the DVR and the two will start to communicate with each other.

Internet Explorer then automatically downloads some program files from the DVR and your PC is set up to monitor live or recorded images directly from the unit. This method of connection is very simple and has other similar features to the self-installed client software.

2. Remotely connect to the DVR using Client Software.

This free software is supplied with the DVR and you can install as many copies of it as you like without paying any licence or royalty fees. Just like using the "Internet Explorer" option the software is configured with the DVR's IP address and a user name and password so that only authorised users can access the DVR and control it according to their status - "admin", "user" or "guest".

The client software has a friendly easy to use feel about it and many users of the DVR prefer using the client software to that of IE for remotely connecting to the DVR. The software has numerous features for playing back recorded files, downloading files, setting up the DVR remotely and more.

By using this software on a PC, you can "hide" the DVR365 anywhere in the building and only physically access the unit when absolutely necessary. All other features can be carried out from a networked PC. You can of course have several Apollo365 DVRs on a network and connect to any of them from any networked PC. This means, for example, that you could use one DVR for internal cameras and another for external cameras. The DVR's don't even have to be at the same site or installation!

This DVR is recommended for anyone requiring long term unattended recording in real time quality (not timelapse like lower spec DVRs). With the ability to record video and audio on every camera input and play back this information live or recorded anywhere in the world, the Apollo365 is in a league of its own.

The is a quality DVR and a powerful multi-channel video server built into one easy to use "black box". For the CCTV installer, the ApolloDVR provides an easy to fit, high performance and flexible solution to the security and remote monitoring needs of their customers. For the customer, the Apollo 365 DVR provides great value for money with all the technology in one box at a truly remarkable price.
