CCTVdirect was founded in 1999 to supply industry professionals and DIY installers with competitively priced pro CCTV equipment. It was established from its founder company Firsteye Ltd which was predominantly an alarm and CCTV installation company. After a period of success we decided to minimize our range of products and just supply items that in our opinion are robust, reliable and above all provide great pictures at low prices. Each product undergoes rigorous testing prior to despatch to ensure everything you receive works first time right out of the box.

Many professional installers have also realised the benefits and cost savings we provide and as a result we have built up a large professional customer base. Many of these trade customers buy from CCTVdirect week in week out. In the UK we could see that some of the traditional larger CCTV distributors were greatly overpricing their CCTV equipment. So we made sure that our goal was to keep our prices down but still sell the same great products. With increased sales we moved to a larger premises and finally opened our own showroom and warehouse.
