very impressed with the range and quality of this camera, I didn't think it would reach down my lane which is exactly 100m but it does the job perfectly getting great images even at night when it is pitch black down my lane.

I bought this camera to view the one entrance to our carpark which is situated at the end of a driveway almost 100m from the building. During the day this is fine but at night I find the IR illumination doesn't quite reach the gate and images appear less clear. This may be due to the trees lining the driveway. I have bought a second IR illuminator to solve the problem.

A problem with many IR cameras is that the lens is separated from the IR illuminator by a rubber seal. When the camera is exposed to bad weather for much of the year the rubber degrades until eventually the IR light can reflect directly back into the lens and ruins the picture.
The killercam uses split lens technology so the lens remains separate from the IR illuminator ensuring no interference.
This camera has a whopping 100m range and at 600TVL is probably the best image I have ever seen at long distances.
